Illegal Photoshopping?

People in the industry, imagine you have to label "Retouched photograph aimed at changing a person's physical appearance." with every images you've been airbrushed or photoshopped them...

This law is proposed by the French MP Valerie Boyer. She's inspired by recent report she authored on anorexia and bulemia.

“Many young people, particularly girls, do not know the difference between the virtual and reality, and can develop complexes from a very young age. In some cases this leads to anorexia or bulimia and very serious health problems,” she said.

In simple terms, when young people especially girls who don't really know how to differentiate virtual and reality will hate eating and this causes very serious health problems. And all of this is because of their desire to become PERFECT, just like those magazine cover girls. So called "unrealistic body images".

More than 50 French politicians have voiced support for the law. If passed, advertisers who break it would be subject to a fine of £30,000 (about $48,200 USD), or 50 percent of the campaign cost.

What will the advertising industry become in the future?

外婆家

放假了，有两个星期的时间给我在家做废人。过两天就去外婆家，看看好久不见的外婆。
躺在床上，弟弟坐在我屁股上，帮我按摩，聊起了外婆家。

弟：外婆家没有东西玩的，可是我每次都不舍得离开那里。
我：为什么？
弟：因为外婆泡的milo很好喝，外婆又对我很好。

（对啊，以前我也是像你一样，每次去都不舍得离开外婆家。）

我：然后咧，还有什么不舍得的？
弟：还有外公做的板面咯，还有滑蛋荷，超级好吃。

外公亲手打的板面，也是我想念的味道。

就这样，从弟弟口中说出外婆的milo还有外公的板面，令我更加想念外公外婆了。
他们都年纪大了，也不常和孩子见面，就连我这个外孙也很少去探望他们，真是惭愧。
我想念
外婆家那边简陋的房间，
早上有公鸡叫醒，
新鲜的空气，
缓慢的生活步调，
安宁的过日子。

The Sony Bravia Commercial, for the first sight I thought it was a CG effect but actually it is real colorful 350,000 bouncing balls rolling down the street of San Fransisco. OMFG...it really impressed me.

Hell yeah...once again I couldn't get into my dream at this moment. Thanks to the 3D modeling the earlier night, it made me suffer the whole night modeling the whole thing and submitted it on 11am. It was a very very terrible model.(TOLD YOU NOT TO DO WORK LAST MINUTE!) What's next? Whole afternoon sleeping without going any afternoon classes. That is the reason why I'm still with my eyes open and writing this post here.

So what I can do? Facebook? Msn? I nudge Miss EuniXX and talk about our course works. Later I mentioned about her accident recently and asked whether she went for Bai Bai(make a prayer) anot? She's damn bad luck since she met another accident few months ago. And then she told me:

*eat wad ever i wan
*cuz i really dono wad'll happen next

上课感觉很好

今天终于8am成功起床去上课！很久没有成功那么早起床去上课了，感觉很好很好！终于对得起爸爸妈妈了！哈哈！可能是之前忙新春的事情搞到日夜颠倒，白天睡觉晚上开工，导致现在的后遗症（又赖新春...）^^OK啦，承认是自己意志力很弱，每当早上闹钟响了，我就起来了，然后把闹钟关了，看到自己很有魅力的床，继续睡了。就是这样，到了Week4我今天才真正的上完一整天的课了。爽～

然后咧，最近在忙筹备着一个MV的拍摄，是我其中一个科目的Project。组员就是惯例的C1-5-3a member～组名还叫做Last Minute Production...看到这个组名有很不详的预感，但是就是要创新，名字叫Last Minute提醒自己不要做Last Minute的工作。好的，以下这个片段就是我们将要用的歌曲，叫做Here In My Home，由MAFU (Malaysian Artist For Unity)联合演出的MV。

好了，要睡了，刚刚讨论了MV的内容，明天要Present，都是早点睡好。ZZzzz...

都过去了

新春很忙很忙的日子过去了，
每天都会想还有什么东西还没做的日子过去了，
时常会问自己“为什么要把自己搞得那么忙”的日子过去了，
还有很多很多开心和不开心的日子都过去了。

终于，
现在有自己的时间了，有时间写blog，
有时间轻轻松松开PPStream看我猜，
有时间出去走街吃东西，
有时间陪女朋友，
有时间打球，
有时间打game，
有时间一整天呆在家无所事事，
感觉非常好！

有人问我“有没有后悔参加新春”
我答不出来，在这里认识很多，学到很多，损失，牺牲也很多，
当然，其他筹委日子也不是过得很好。
还记得阿海说的“The way you do anything is the way you do everything"
还有阿春的什么什么“Experience is not what you get, it's from what you did not get”
还有我自己在My FM听到的“把简单的事情做好，就是不简单”
感觉时间过得很快，忽然间第十二届新春嘉年华会结束了，
原本什么都不懂，连开会时的提议复议是什么都不知道，
现在已经Level Up了，觉得什么问题都不是问题了。

这种感觉很好，好像玩Game玩到最后一关，打死了大王酱，
虽然过程艰辛还是熬过去了，
这里要感谢所有筹委，
感谢你们的宽容体谅，因为有很多东西都做不好，而且拖慢了进度，
感谢我的工委，感谢你们都为这个活动付出。

虽然，
不是搞了什么轰轰烈烈的事情，
但是至少让我觉得，
“嗯，我们都不简单。”

Day2: 瑞芳镇，金瓜石，九份老街

终于第二天的游记来了，不好意思让一些朋友久等了，因为都没有时间好好去整理照片。最近都在开始忙作业了，上个学期成绩不是很满意所以这个学期要拼一点了。第二天拍的照片太多了，想和大家分享的也很多！所以这一篇就看图片为主吧，反正也没有什么特别的事情发生。一路上我们就是走走，看看，拍拍，吃吃，喝喝的。
今天六点多就醒了要去瑞芳镇了，匆匆忙忙梳洗后就出发了。想酒店柜台小姐问路后就往台北火车站去了（这时候还不知道可以从附近的西门捷运站搭捷运到台北车站，所以走了很长的路）。一路上不断问人，小鹿乱撞般的出发了。
西门町的早晨，已经有人在打扫了。

路途中看到这个摊子想说买份早餐吃，补充能量，因为要走很多路，叫了一份原味蛋饼。蛋饼是我回来后非常怀念的早餐～～～～

早上七点的台北，交通就已经非常繁忙了。辛好有这位好心的自愿交警在指挥交通。向他问路后又凭着模糊的方向走去了。

到处都是小绵羊

在台北街上经过了大大小小的路后，终于到了台北车站。

台北车站也是很繁忙，人潮很多。第一次在台湾搭火车，还真是要到处问人，不然上错车就麻烦大了。买了票后就到月台去了。由于不清楚哪一班车，哪个月台上车，到了月台还是继续问人。去问一个工作人员，他好像不太爱理，随便给个答案就敷衍了事...还是问路人比较好＝.＝

等车的同时，看到少鹏和阿翔后面那幅画吗？那个不是壁画或海报，是火车的图案，很美咧。

上车了

从台北到瑞芳镇的区间车

火车到每个站都会报告一次，中文，英语，台语，客家和日语的报告都有。在车上大家都睡到猪酱，不过幸好到站时会起身。到了！！！

出了瑞芳车站就看到一堆黄黄的小黄，原本想说搭公车的我们最后还是搭计程车了，可以去比较多景点比较划算，又不浪费时间。

司机是一个叫廖进文的阿伯，人很好和我们介绍很多地方。然后也offer我们问我们要不要加钱，然后他载我们去更多地方。之后没想那么多也就说ok了。廖阿伯还不断说：“阿伯我是老实人啦，已经收你们便宜了～～”
图中的就是廖阿伯，可是本人没有那么年轻啦，可能是几十年前的吧。

第一个到的景点是九份瀑布。有看篮球火的朋友应该看过这个地方。对，没错！就是篮球火第十三集元大鹰和W回到大鹰的家乡玩，然后到九份瀑布亲密合照的地方。我也是前几天看篮球火第十三集才知道的。

到处拍拍照后跟廖阿伯来个大合照，还有他的小黄。

这里的屋子都建在山边，很美。住这里的人每天都看到青山，大海，蓝天，爽！空气也特别清新。

之后就出发到第二个景点，经过这个地方的时候阿伯说：“你们看这里，夏天的时候年轻人就会到山上来这里打炮”>.< 哈哈！

第二个就是这个，是以前他们挖矿的地方，挖什么我也不清楚了。里面很暗地上滑所以没有进去。

阿伯跟我们说这里当地人民的故事。

从这里高处望下去可以看到海！对面就是了，阿伯说那叫阴阳海待会带我们去～～

来到这么棒的地方当然要合照一下啦！扮帅的四条傻佬！

然后又看到这个蓝色的小屋，不知道什么来的，觉得美就拍了。

老是爱耍宝的阿赖，明明就不好笑，硬是要我拍他拿着三角架扮打抢。=.=

然后还遇到当地的居民，牵着小女孩。

接下来我们就去阴阳海了，没想到那么快就可以看到海了，这个景点没有在规划之内，算是意外的收获吧。

这里有很多比较老年的人在钓鱼，看他们日子过得蛮悠闲的。得空没事就来这里钓鱼，不然就回到山上享受清新的空气。

“神经两条水”

总觉得廖阿伯的小黄特别帅！

接下来就去next station了，廖阿伯说带我们去拜拜哦。然后就去那个忘了叫什么的寺庙了。这里高处望下去景观就是特别美！虽然太阳高挂在天空可是并不会感觉很热，不像在马来西亚，晒不到几分钟就热得想骂脏话了！哈哈！

就是这个寺庙了，忘了叫什么名，歹势歹势！

上面有一个很大的雕像，是谁的雕像也不清楚，呵呵！

临走之前突然有个满头白发的老婆婆过来，指着一个楼梯叫我们上去拍，说那里角度最好。果然听老人言就不吃亏，上面的角度真的很好，可以拍到整个大雕像。

之后就去买了一个核仁蛋黄冰，味道咸咸的。

随便到一间店吃东西，叫了一份卤肉饭。台湾人的卤肉饭，就好像马来西亚人的nasi lemak，卤肉饭是他们的soul food。味道除了淡了点，其实蛮好吃的，台湾人的口味比较淡吧，还是我们在马来西亚习惯了重口味。

吃饱后就去黄金博物馆，廖阿伯的车子一到了那边，我们看到一群年轻男女上巴士走了...(当中有不少美眉，唉...错过了)^^去到那里看到另外一群穿着青色衣的小朋友，应该是小学生吧。看他们在外面玩得多开心。

拿了导览地图后第一个去的地方就是以前日治时期所遗留下来的日式屋。里面都保留着日本风格的家具。

后来才发现这里是《转角遇到爱》的拍摄地点，就是吴兴街69号，罗志祥那间屋子。

走到了这里，往左边去是黄金博物馆，右边上去是黄金神社。他们都说很高很远懒惰去，所以只有我去咯。

真的超远的，走了十几分钟阶梯都还没到，回头一看，已经走那么远了。

可是黄金神社还要走一段路，还有那么高要爬～累～

可是累是值得的，终于到了，这里是可以到达最高的地方了，景色当然也不一样。

到处都是山，感觉和云层很接近。

这里也可以看到廖阿伯之前有提到的传说中的茶壶山，看照片里面最高的那个部分，像不像一个茶壶？

在这里遇到一个老外，他拿着和我一样的地图，地图只有中文，我去问他看得懂吗？他说看不懂，只是瞎猜的。=.=这样也可以哦。看够了景色我就下去了。

途中看到这个“我们祈祷世界人类的和平”，为什么这里会有这样的东西？？

又走了十几分钟，去到了黄金博物馆，看到阿赖在外面坐着，说里面没什么好看的就没进去了，只在外面拍拍照。可是后来才知道这里的重头戏就是这个博物馆...阿赖...你真的是...走几步就喊累，看东西也走马看花的...=.=还跟我讲里面没有什么东西好看，害我错过了><（阿赖：“又赖我咯！我姓赖你们就赖我咯！”）这句话是他之后都有用到的。

之后不知不觉过了好长一段时间，忘了廖阿伯说等我们三个小时...惨了让他等那么久...赶紧的我们回到出口去了。看到了我们，廖阿伯在那边碎碎念：“哎哟，怎么你们那么久，不是说好了三个小时吗？阿伯在这里等你们很久了。”呵呵，不好意思哦阿伯，这里太美了，都不舍得走。
临走前再拍一张...

接下来就是九份老街了，这里是游客必去的景点，很多香港，日本的游客都会来这里。那里卖东西的有些还以为我们是香港人，用广东话向我们介绍产品。呵呵。这里到处都是给外国游客买纪念品的地方，什么都有，琳琅满目的。

到了那边我们变得好像小孩子般的，什么都拿来玩。

还有很多拉着狗出来的人，这里的狗都很帅！很多没看过的。

来到这么美的地方，是时候拍些“个人写真”了，哈哈！首先是阿赖！（题目：男人与青山，照片解说：我坐在这里，遥望着远方...)

然后到少鹏（题目：微笑，解说：不管世间尘埃，我微微一笑而过）哈哈！！两个看起来超欠扁的！

看到这个陈旧的白色车和背景，非常的有feeling~就拍了。

很羡慕这里的居民，每天都对着大自然！蓝天白云青山碧海！OMG~~~(click to enlarge the image)

接下来就是美食时间了，要怎么知道哪个是美食，很简单。只要有人潮的摊位，就是美食了！第一个就是赖阿婆芋圆。类似麻糬的东西，有不同的口味，吃起来QQ的！

然后这一间也是人潮蛮多的，可能是有这位美眉做招牌的关系吧，呵呵！

我们也买了一包叫芋粿的来试试。

还有这个，可是忘了叫什么了，里面是肉，外面是一层软软的皮包着。

还有就是这个香肠，叫做黑猪肉香肠，就是黑色的那个部分。

正当享受美食的同时，这只狗跑来要食物了，看它的眼神。

要离开的时候call了廖阿伯来载我们，等待的同时看到夕阳正要下山了，实在太美了。这个时候就拿出相机，拍！拍！拍！一整天都在拍，今天真的是完美的一天！

之后阿伯就载我们到基隆夜市了，离开时他还不断提醒我们要注意扒手，因为扒手在基隆夜市会比较多，要稍微注意一下。呵呵，人好好哦。走着走着看到了这个！不就是马来西亚的ROTI CANAI？他们这里叫做甩饼，为什么呢？因为他会把ROTI甩得高高的，然后再接着。>.<

然后这里也出名便宜的海产，照片中大大的螃蟹钳子其实卖很便宜。

太多选择了，我们随便到一家叫了螃蟹庚，还有油饭填肚子。吃饱了要付钱的时候我不知怎么算错钱给老板了，这时候老板冷冷地对我说：“你啊，要多用功。”我：“...”顿时不知要怎么回答=.=

吃饱了，就继续走，然后吃这个阿赖介绍的鼎边挫。阿赖就说台湾人口味淡说应该会没什么味道试都没试就加了一大堆辣椒粉下去，结果辣得吃不下。我说你啊，吃东西也不先试试看，需要才加啦...害得我们又吃不下了。（阿赖：又赖我咯！）

今天大概傍晚七点左右，正在打篮球，抬头一望，感觉今天的月亮好像特别美，也不知道为什么。回到了家里，收到朋友的简讯叫我看月亮，说今天的月亮上面有两颗星星，和月亮一起，形成一个笑脸。哇，奇景呐！然后刚刚看到GoogleNews看到这篇报导，国外也看到这个月亮哦。然后报导提到月亮上面两颗是叫做Venus和Jupiter的行星。
为了这个笑脸特地写了这篇，去台湾的游记第二天都还没写。最近实在太忙了,有时间都拿来睡了。^^
“何谓人生啊～～～人生就是如此～～～”算了吧，连夜空也笑了，我们也带着笑脸，迎接所有挑战啦！

Day1: 台湾，我来了！

Hello everyone! Finally I have time to update my blog. Sorry for those who don't understand chinese, you may "read" the photos to understand. ^^
哇～～终于写第一天了！从台湾回来后都没有时间好好整理照片，整理心情，让我好好怀念一下在台湾的日子。一回到来就开学了，现在终于有时间慢慢怀念慢慢写部落格了。整理照片要放部落格时，一边看照片一边回忆起在台湾的日子…OMG!超怀念的！！ 10月20号的早上，四个“大马男孩”（大马男孩是后来台湾朋友给我们取的）很早就起床准备了。由于是第一次自助旅行，也是本人第一次出国，昨天其实兴奋得睡不着。收拾好东西后就出发了！先来一张全体照！左起：少鹏,小宝，阿赖，阿翔。

出发到海关前我们到附近的早餐店吃早餐，迟点要坐四个小时的飞机，我们乘搭的是JetStar，比较便宜的飞机，不含飞机餐。所以要吃饱饱。叫了一大堆。

吃饱，就出发了。到了Changi Airport，先来照一张～

进到去看到这个，然后查我们的登机时间。

到了新加坡机场的大马男孩。

还是到处乱拍。

终于到了桃源中正机场，这里很快天黑，我们到达的时候大概是傍晚五点钟，天已经很黑了。下机后第一件事情就是申请台湾大哥大。SIM Card 345元，里面有credit345元，很划算。然后就去办台湾青年旅游卡。

之后就坐飞狗巴士去西门町咯！

巴士里面每个座位都有一个小电视。

巴士窗外台北街头的风景，台北市很热闹，看到都是中文字的招牌，感觉很不一样。

到了西门町，马上到饭店放下背包，要去逛了！一到饭店，觉得…这个饭店感觉怪怪的，进到房间时一打开抽屉，结果看到这个。

呵呵，然后门后面还有写着住宿一晚n元，休息n个小时n元。休息…就是男女累了，要进房间一起休息…^^怎么会找到这种饭店，我也不知道，要问阿赖，台北是他负责策划的。不过也还好啦，这里很靠近西门町，随时可以去逛。哇～～～到西门町了！这里很像日本的街头，到处都是年轻男女。美眉，帅哥到处都是，招牌五颜六色，看到眼花缭乱！

西门町著名的阿宗面线。吃这个面线是站着吃的，正当我们吃的同时，听到几个香港的大婶大惊小怪的说：“咩话？无凳坐嘎？吾食啦吾食啦！”=.=

吃了又继续逛，来到这个叫电影城的地方，到处都是大大个电影海报。

走…走…走…都不知在走什么，又没有mood买东西（第一天到，不敢乱买！哈哈！），就去逛诚品书店咯，诚品书店只有在台北的有24小时。去闻一闻书香也好。然后随便去一间店问路。“你们向这个方向去，穿过峨嵋街，然后中山路….什么什么的”这个帅哥的回答好像也没有什么帮助因为我们也不懂什么路打什么路。然后就乱打乱撞走到诚品书店去了。

可能是坐很久飞机的关系，都很累了，所以逛没多久就回去酒店休息了。冲好凉后，SP又说要出去西门町走走…（这个时间人群已经疏散了）去到那边有人跑来问 SP：“帅哥，要不要看小姐？小姐很漂亮。”LOL…很明显是那种“小姐”，原来这里也有这样的服务，哈哈。到处逛到处拍，看看台北市夜里的情况。

有没有看到紫色的招牌？亚洲夜总会～不过里面应该都是叔叔们，不适合我们啦。

18 Days in Taiwan: Introduction

Hello everyone who visit my blog. There's been quite a long time I didn't update my blog due to my heavy workloads. What make thing worse is my time management, I couldn't manage time well and it make me suffer alot this semester. Finally the semester came to the end and I've been planned a trip to Taiwan with my friends. Wow~ it's my first time travel oversea and it's a 18 days trip~

Soupeng, AhLai, AhXiang (UTAR student, AhLai's hometown buddy) and me have been planning for this trip weeks ago. Things seems like not going very well, it's hard to decide which hotel to stay, where and how we want to go... etc...Anywhere, we visit this backpackers forum and we met alot of Taiwan friends there who help us alot.

Why Taiwan?
See this blog and you will understand. These five girls from Hong Kong travelled to Taiwan 27 days and they wrote about everything during their journey. It's very funny and alot of nice picture. Drop a visit when you have free time. After reading their articles, I feel like "I want to go Taiwan too!" Really! And now it's my turn to share my moments in Taiwan. Thanks for visiting^^

Balance between both?

It's 4am rite now and I've just finish doing the mounting job for photography project. Tomorrow is the submission. I wonder why can't I finish it earlier or else my life would be easier...
This is my Beta first sem, it's very very important for my coming semesters but in this very very important sem I joined my campus 12th CNYE and my post is strongly related to my profession - director of Creativity and Design division. It sounds like .. director.. not a big pose or maybe for somebody it's an easy task. For me it's my first time joining such events so I've got to learn faster and more efficiency compared to others. I worried if I will become the stumbling block among the committees.
1 more thing I worried alot is my own assignments. There's one sentence to describe, NEVER ENDING WORKLOAD! What make thing worse is that I'm kinda lazy fellow and I do work last minutes. OMG... this time...
Another friend of mine told me, I have to search for a balance between both- my academic and event. Academic is my future and I have responsibility towards the committees.
So why would I join the event? I do not really know the answer but one thing for sure is that I really have fun with you guys and I love it. I wish we could make this a success and leave a sweet memories within us.

Well...my very first assignment in Beta year. Previous semester I've learnt how to use flash, it's a long story. Now this is another long story. 3D max, I'm dealing with 3D now. Wow...sounds exciting but the process...OMG..."convert to editable poly", "extrude", "bevel"...the process took me YEARs!!! Btw I managed to get in done before the submission day.

It's not very well rendered if you look closer. The keypad is abit "square-ish" compared to the actual N80. The keypad is actually round-cornered but due to the limited skill and time I could only managed to do this. T.T
I myself is not that satisfy with the work. BTW it's another new challenge for me.

It's over! Going to Beta year!

Yeah, finally it comes to the end, everything has been submitted and I'm finally free! ^^
So today I am posting these 2 major assignments that took me years and lotz of efforts to finish them.

First one is Design Fundamental...this is quite a tough job for me at first. We need to produce a portfolio based on our chosen topic. I'm nt good in drawing and painting, tat's why it's tough for me. So I came up with this idea, design using photoshop and print it out. It cost me nearly a hundred for this portfolio buy luckily I didn't spend much on the final artwork.

Right after submission of DF (Design Fundamental), I went to my bed and sleep. We didn't really sleep due to the last minute work.
The next day, I need to finish another important assignment for Computer Graphics. It's me and my previous group mate, Jia Hoe again. LIMS - our group name. It's another sleepless night. We brainstorm on how to do this assignment and start working at 1am, and the next couple hours we need to present and submit it.

Continue to the previous assignment, this time we need to make a trailer to promote Lat's comic. The theme is "Lat's comic is now alive". We have to combine some other student's animation in assignment2 in our video. I saw a flash on Internet which called "Pencilmation" and I try to achieve something like that. It's an animation where a pencil sketching on a notepad. It's good when I know I could do it and then I proceed the next steps based on the idea.

Luxation on my little finger...again

"What the hell is going on in this Earth..."is the first thing came out from my thought when I got my little finger luxated again. Yeah, it's "again" and it's on the right hand this time! I remember just a month before, on 28th March I got my little finger on left hand injured. It was a lovely evening and the weather was great. I was playing basketball with my friend and suddenly, it hurt. I looked at my left hand and OMG ! It's totally out of imagination...the shape of my little finger was .. "twisted" .. It's not a straight finger.. and I can't describe the shape here.

After that my friend brought me to a place and then the "sifu" pulled and straighten my little finger...Gosh! It hurts! Then he wrapped my finger with some own-made traditional herbs and reminded me do not let the finger to get wet. This is where the problems and troubles started. I can use only one hand to bath, wash my face and style my hair... u know... it's a very hard time..

Finally I unwrapped the gauze and I can continue my 'normal' lifestyle..using both of my hands...

After 1 month...now... it's being wrapped again.. right hand...for the same reason again...

T.T speechless . . .

Computer Graphics Assignment 2

"Make Lat's comic alive for 'lively' education" is the title of this assignment. We are divided into groups of two and I'm with LJH. Spending few days brainstorming on the idea and planning on how the scenes should go on and two nights without sleeping...Finally we've made it.
And guess what...Our lecturer and tutors are seem to be admired and satisfied with our work. One of them even said "I almost give you perfect marks, I like it!"
Oh my...our hard work has paid off...WAHAHA !!! It's such a relieve when we heard this.

So now a very brief explain about my assignment...
We are given a comic strip by Lat and we have to animate it. LJH is working on the graphic and my part is to animate it.

The coloring job is perfectly done by LJH...and now is my part to animate it. Below is the SS in . With my experience of watching cartoon, I've got some idea on how the scene should goes on. It was the hardest part when I need to make Lat walking naturally. It's not an easy job for me. I go through google with the key words 'walk cycle tutorial ', and found some nice tutorial on doing the walking motion.

Lastly the sound effect is the key element in . Without sound, it is just a boring motion graphic...With sound, it's an short animation ! Wow.. nice!!

So... that's what Me and Lim Jia Hoe have done for this assignment... Congratz to everyone: SP, Shen2, Richard, Jun... (applausing...)

It is 3.46 am now and I'm still doing nothing while my roommates are doing their work for consultation with lecturers tomorrow. Dull...I dunno what am I doing. Wasting time surfing the net and get nothing. Oh my... I am extremely being attracted to photography now... and I spend my time looking for tutorial and tips.

It's quite a long time since my last post. Now I'm in my 3rd semester, the last sem in my foundation year and I m heading to my beta year~~ Excited thinking of this....cant wait for the new challenge to come.

And I m now focusing on learning photography... It's a different world out there through the lens.

Today's post is about my Computer Graphics 3 assignment recently. We learn desktop publishing. I m quite disappointed with the software we use - QuarkXpress. I wonder why don't they teach us Adobe softwares like Adobe InDesign...

However, I m able to produce my work no matter what... It is still a simple software to use...

and this is the interface... QuarkXpress is all about boxes, I play around with the picture box and text box using the guidelines and grid.

The cover page in pdf form...The assignment is to introduce myself to others, so i took a picture of my leg and use it as cover.

so...here i done my assignment 1, waiting for more challenge..~~ ^^

In the early morning, there's something waiting for me and my frenz here. Comic Fiesta at Berjaya Time Square! Richard (anime freak), SouPeng, Shen Thuu ('mixed' Japanese), Jia Hoe and I, together visit the exhibition!

However, the KLIA transit didn't wait for us and we waited for another 30 minutes... T.T

Finally we arrived, there's a big crowd in front of the building. Guess what? We met with Karen Kong again~

Dream Cheeky & Microsoft Building a Better USB Missile Launcher

For those of you that bought the original USB Missile Launcher, you know that it can be a blast to play with at the office. Unfortunately, with it being tethered to your PC via a cable, it left little doubt as to who was the culprit of the daily executions. Thankfully it's gotten a few upgrades!

Now you can place the USB Wireless Missile Launcher all over the place, as long as it can get a signal, and fire them while blaming it on someone else. I wonder if you can set up multiple ones all over the place and control them individually. Maybe you want to have a little more fun at home, so they developed the USB MSN Missile Launcher (co-developed with Microsoft) as well. Now you can sit in your chair and via the detachable video camera let all your friends shoot missiles right in your eye. I think I'll get one of these for a friend and tell him the camera is to detect people coming in his room, not so I can shoot him at random intervals.

Dream Cheeky doesn't appear to have the new launchers on their website but expect them there soon. Until they do, use the picture to hold you over. The MSN launcher is on top and the wireless version to the bottom.

USB Business Card Contains Flash Memory Sans the Plug

Sometimes a business card is just what you need, other times it isn't. Often when meeting with a client you need to deliver something to them and in today's fast paced tech era, paper is simply old school. If you want to make an impression, you better be able to hand over something that can be looked at electronically. So why not give them a business card with all of your deliverables inside it?

The USB business card dubbed the M++Card does just that. Turn over your entire portfolio, a set of PDF's, or any number of other documents and give them your business card at the same time. After doing some digging on the net it appears that this is just a concept for the time being. Nothing is mentioned about how much storage will be available but you can bet that it won't be much to start with. I can see this being practical on a small scale but I don't see these as being something you hand out like candy, unless you are looking to go bankrupt. This isn't the first attempt at a techie type business card we've seen, but certainly seems to be a little more practical.

There was an art exhibition in e-gallery in MMU yesterday. Excellent FCM Alpha students' works will be displayed.

I felt both excited and despair for this. Excited for my Alpha coursemates for doing so well and usually only Delta year students' works will be displayed. Alpha means the first year and Delta is the last year in my faculty. So I am proud to be in Alpha year. What dissapointing is that my work isn't there...

Who to blame? Myself... and Why? because others are paying much more effort than I do. So I promised myself to do better than I was before. Hearing that there will be more exhibition of Alpha year students' works this year, I am motivated. I want my work to be displayed there next time! This is what I told myself and I believe everyone in Alpha year has the same thinking. We will get there!

Finaly the final exam is over and I could spend my holiday with my family and friends! In this very second I hope to be at home as fast as posible, I miss the foods! and also my own bed! I didn't sleep last night but I sleep today from 8am to 6pm...this is not the first time...what a life...my body is gonna decay...OMG...

I found a photoshop video tutorial at metacafe and after that I try it myself.

Once I get into it, it can't be stopped...so I play around with some old photos until the sun rises.

I did realise that we have gone through alot...and hence we are now what we are...Miss those days...keep it up everybody!
